Hike down the stone stairways to the bottom of the basin created by the Minnehaha river as it takes its 53-foot fall. 


Minnehaha Falls was made nationally famous by the poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in 1853 when he wrote the Song of Hiawatha.
