Ritter Farm Park
Ritter Farm Park is the crown jewel of Lakeville park system. The park offers hiking, cross country skiing, picnic areas, and an archery range.
Ritter Farm was originally owned by the Ritter family and was a working dairy farm. They also kept chickens and pigs, and raised crops on the farm. The 640-acre property was purchased by the city of Lakeville in 1972 and made into a city park.
The park has a 3.2 mile hiking loop, as well as multiple smaller loops throughout the park winding through open fields, woods, and orchards. The trails are used for hiking, skiing, snowmobiling.
Ritter Farm Park is in ideal location for family portraits with its winding, well-groomed trails. While wandering the trails, this park offers many ideal settings to stop for a photo.
